Meet Dr. Roya Naseh—a dentist with an extraordinary journey. Growing up in a family of educated doctors, she embraced her passion and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran back in 1997. What’s truly impressive is that she not only graduated at the top of her class but also managed to raise her one-year-old daughter simultaneously.
After spending a couple of years working as a general dentist, Dr. Roya felt a strong inner pull to pursue further specialization. In 1999, she made her way back to Mashhad University, embarking on an intensive three-year orthodontic residency that she successfully completed in 2002. Impressively, she once again secured the top position in the Iranian National Dental Board Exam.
For a remarkable 15 years, Dr. Roya shared her knowledge as a university professor at Qazvin University of Medical Sciences. There, she nurtured the minds of budding orthodontists, teaching them the ropes of her craft. But that’s not all—she donned various hats, serving as Dean Associate in Education, Orthodontic Department Head, and Research Centre Head. No wonder she’s got a collection of papers published in both local and international journals.
In 2018, she took a leap by undertaking a one-year orthodontic gap-training course at the University of Alberta. To top it all off, she aced the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) exam in 2019, officially becoming a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics.
Even beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Roya is a mom to three wonderful children. When she’s not crafting beautiful smiles, she’s out exploring new places and soaking up precious moments with her family.
So, whether she’s perfecting smiles or making memories with her loved ones, Dr. Roya Naseh is an inspiration—dedicated, accomplished, and wholeheartedly human.
You’ll find her affiliations with esteemed organizations like the Canadian Dental Association, Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC), British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA), and British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP). She’s not just a dentist; she’s a member of a vibrant professional community that shares her commitment to excellence.

Dr. Efat Farrokhshad graduated from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences with a doctor of dental surgery. She is a Certified Member of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada. She had been working in her own dental clinic in Tehran and she has over 15 years of successful clinical experience in all aspects of general dentistry. She worked in a high-circumstances clinic in Vancouver in a wide spectrum of dental care including veneers(cosmetic), root canal therapy, crown and bridge, denture, surgical extractions, and pediatric dentistry.
She also always provides a stress-free environment for all patients.
She loves hiking, swimming, and music and she enjoys spending time with her family.
